My daughter and I were visiting New Orleans for the Orientation at Tulane University. This was our second trip our first hotel was fine. The Le Pavillon is however magnificent. The perfection begins at the front door when you are greeted as if you were very important long time friends. The interior will take your breath away. We had a beautiful room with 2 beds which encourages you to relax and rest the second your head hits the pillows. The lovely furniture includes a beautiful antique desk in addition to a smaller table nestled in front of a large bay window with two wing back chairs. The desk came in very handy for my business issues and schedules for which I used my laptop. This was an important trip for my daughter and I. We were experiencing the University and city my daughter would be choosing to reside in. When we got off the trolley from a long day we felt like the staff was waiting for us to return. They were exceptional. We moved our daughter into TULANE last week and wish we had not choosen a specific BB for location to the University. We are returning for Home Coming in October and we will spend the extra 10 minutes getting to the campus on the Trolley just so at the end of the day we can take a dip in the roof top pool and visit with the friends I made in the staff and administration. BEST Hotel anywhere and I have traveled about quite a bit. The Photo is exactely like the our large room and the Bathroom is absoutely amazing. The half door is perfect and no water gets out the design prevents that. Le Pavillon keep the light on for us.

The rooms and service were excellent. We had our two year old daughter with us, and she loved the late night PB&J set-up in the lobby. The pool was small, cloudy, and a bit crowded, it looked much bigger in the ad photos. It is about a six block walk to the quarter, but not bad as long as you have a stroller. Overall, we had a great stay and will be looking forward to another trip back.

The service and beauty of Le Pavillion are unsurpassable. I proposed to my wife here and they helped me arrange everything- from the champagne and chocolate-dipped strawberries to the horse-drawn carriage, their concierge did it all! Good service in New Orleans is hit and miss. If you want a real luxurious experience, go to Le Pavillion! You won't regret it.

Hotel was beautiful and staff was extremely friendly and competent. Small problem with mini-bar charge added to bill; promptly removed when it was pointed out. Pool is tiny; no shallow end for kids. Rooms are small but nicely decorated. Would stay here again-- conveniently located, comfortable, clean.
