Stayed two nights on a slow Sunday and Monday. If driving easy in and out from I-10. Front desk was very accommodating with an early check-in despite being full the night before. Queen deluxe room was small but charming as was the bath. Though older the room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Location can't be beat for access to the French Quarter and the trolley nearby. Continental breakfast is pastries and bagels with coffee and OJ. 24 hr coffee is sometimes cold and stale. Parking is on premises inside the courtyard. Doors could use an extra lock and do-not-disturb sign. If you have mobility problems be sure to get a first floor guarantee as there are no elevators and 25 mostly narrow steps. Hotel is a good bargain especially if parking is included.

We recently stayed 2 nites at the Provincial; loved the room with a balcony!! However, the pool was a HUGE let down it was so hot in NOLA and I couldnt use the pool as water was murky!! A bit out of the way in the quarter as well. The next downer was the breakfast, it left lots to be desired!!!! I would stay ther again but hope they fix up the pool first!

My husband and I and our Four Children stayed here and loved it! They put us in the back right by a small pool-we have kids from age 16-7 so it was nice to be so close. Since I myself came for the feel of New Orleans our room was just right, a small court yard with a small but pretty garden. We will stay here again and you should too! Also Great Location, sooo close to everything! We stayed in June!

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Provincial this year. The staff was friendly and eager to answer all our questions. The room we had was perfect for our needs and was very clean "a plus". Although we stayed at the back of the hotel we had a pretty good view of the river and boats going by.
